 The Clan

            =RAGE= is a clan based on EA's Battlefield 2142 first person shooter. The Clan was originally composed of past or present Law Enforcement and Military personnel but has now expanded to incorporate anyone that shares an interest in using real world tactics in a simulated combat environment. Battlefield 2142 was selected as the theater for this clan do to its support of squad based combat, ranking structure to include commanders and close quarter’s combat scenarios found within the Titan.
             
            =RAGE= has a defined internal ranking structure and a series of bylaws with their ranks ranging from Private all the way up to General.  These ranks are earned based on seniority, clan participation and in game skill.  With each rank new privileges and responsibilities are delegated to the clan member.  Members are expected to follow and respect the chain of command.  Rank privileges can include unlimited =RAGE= email, reserved slots or admin access to one or all of our game servers or Teamspeak servers, private ftp access, beta testing, booster packs etc.
           
            =RAGE= actively participates in tournaments and leagues so its members practice daily, as time allows, with group practice being done at least twice a week. During these sessions members our expected to learn basic real world combat maneuvers such as and to include; open field infantry maneuvers, room clearing, wall flood, snake, move/cover drills, etc which are taught by people who have used these same tactics in real life scenarios on a daily basis.  Also taught are game specific tactics such as vehicle weak point analyzation, infantry targeting and accuracy drills, controlling burst fire etc.  Tactics, squad designation, vehicle and role assignments are covered for every map utilizing customized software that allows its members to link their computers in a private network and visibly exchange map strategies real time.

            Our clan is actively involved in the anti-cheat community with all our servers streaming real time to the Mbl and PbBans.  Thousands of screenshots are randomly taken of every player that enters our servers and checked daily and battlerecorder is always on and periodically reviewed.  Cheaters, hackers, exploiters etc are not welcome in our clan or on our servers.            

            =RAGE= is always looking for qualified personnel.  We only accept people who understand the meaning of teamwork, are dedicated and willing to follow the chain of command.  For those of you who are interested in taking your game to the next level and think you have what it takes an application for our clan can be found on the toolbar at the top of this page or check our news section for open tryout days.
